Which life would you prefer to live?
admin

Every day you wake up you have a choice. You can live an extraordinary life or an average one.

You can sit in a restaurant and wonder about what things cost or never look at the right side and just order!
You can go to Bloomingdale’s and buy a shirt or dress and never concern yourself with price or you can go to Daffy’s and look for bargains.
You can live in a doorman building in Manhattan or take the train to Queens daily.

Life does not care how you live. Never has. It will never ever give you what you want, only what you deserve! What you deserve comes at a price. Are you willing to work 8 AM to 8 PM, 8 days a week?

Allow me to share two stories with you. One stupid and one smart.

Let’s start with the stupid first. Any sane person will tell you that gambling is bad and ruins relationships, health and careers. I started gambling at the age of 12. Pretty soon I was addicted. How bad did it get? I once borrowed $17600 from someone who trusted me and lost it in one night. It took me 4 years and a lost relationship to repay it. Over the last 24 years I have lost anywhere from $200000 – $300000. STUPID INDEED. Do you think LIFE cared? Absolutely not. It kept making things difficult for me. Until One day not to long ago I realized how stupid I had been. The point I’m trying to make is that LIFE does not care a damn. It will keep punishing you till you learn the lessons inherent in it’s teachings.

Here is the smart one.

I was shopping at Bloomingdale’s and saw a price tag for a shirt, $295.00. I was with my mentor and said, “Wow that is expensive!” My mentor told me that it was not that things were expensive, it was just that I did not make enough. I realized the wisdom of his words immediately. It was like a bulb lighted in my head. I committed then and there that I would never ever lack money again. Even if I had to work the hardest and the longest. Now I make so much more than I need that I never ever look at the price, ever! Two months later I went to Bloomingdale’s and bought four shirts for $295.00 each. The point I’m trying to make is that if we make things easy for ourselves, LIFE will make it hard for us. However, if we make things hard for ourselves, LIFE will make it easy for us. Now I always take the HARD route. And guess what, life has made everything so easy.

I’m not sure where I was going with today’s blog. However, it’s my best ever. Be the best you can be! And confront your weaknesses, because LIFE is relentless and unforgiving.
